Reporter:
You’re both living in Berlin now as so-called “terrorists,” but I imagine you sometimes leave Kyle’s mansion and go on dates. What kind of dates do you usually have?

Ilay:
Hmm. Dates? Let’s see. What do you think, Taei?

Taeui:
Uh… well, since Ilay doesn’t really go out for work much these days, we’re practically always together. So, I wouldn’t say we go on dates exactly — we mostly just stay at home. Sometimes we take a short walk around the neighborhood, that’s about it.

Reporter:
I see. Um, have you discovered anything new about each other since you started living together? Like, say, sleeping habits or something?

Taeui:
Ah, he’s a lot clingier than I thought. He always has to drape an arm or a leg over me when he sleeps. What, is he afraid I’m going to run away or something?

Ilay:
You might.

Taeui:
No, I wouldn’t. I’m not the kind of person who wastes effort doing reckless things I can’t deal with the consequences of.

Ilay:
As you can hear, he really has no self-awareness. It’s nothing new, but every time I see it, it’s still a little astonishing and fresh.

Reporter:
Mm, uh, Ilay’s hand—

Taeui:
Ah—no! You absolutely cannot call him that!

Reporter:
Ah, I—I just meant, uh, I’m reading it as it was written by the listeners in their questions—

Taeui:
Yes, understood.

Reporter:
Ah, Mr. Taeui, you’ve mentioned before that you liked Mr. Riegrow’s hands, but aside from that—among your partner’s physical features, is there another part you particularly like? I’d like both of you to answer, please.

Taeui:
Aside from the hands… uh… his voice.
Ah, that’s not technically a body part, so maybe that doesn’t count.
If I had to name something I don’t like, there’s definitely one spot—but other than that, well, I like pretty much everything.

Ilay:
Everything. Every inch of him, without exception.

Reporter:
Do you still only call each other by name? I’m curious if you have any pet names. Also, how do you have each other saved in your phones?

Taeui:
Even when we just call each other by name, people around us stare like they’re shocked, so… no need for nicknames on top of that.
In my phone, he’s saved as just “Ilay Riegrow.”
Originally, I had him saved as “That Guy,” but I got caught recently and went through some trouble over it, so I changed it.

Ilay:
Mine’s “Taei (Tay/태이).” Both when I call him and in my phone.

Reporter:
All right. Next question.
Even if it’s not an anniversary, what do you usually do on special days—like birthdays, for example?

Ilay:
That’s my area of expertise.
First, I take him for a sunset helicopter ride over the city, then we go to a department store and buy anything he wants.
After that, we have dinner at a fine hotel restaurant, enjoy some wine, and then—

Taeui:
You’re lying.

Ilay:
—and then I book a suite so we can spend a beautiful night together.
But he hated that idea, so we usually just spend it like any other day.

Reporter:
Ah, I see.
Uh, both of you like beer, but do you ever drink other kinds of alcohol? I’m also curious about your drinking habits.

Taeui:
Uh, I’m not picky. I’ll drink whatever’s given, but beer’s the easiest, you know? It barely even feels like alcohol.
As for drinking habits—I just go to sleep once I’m tipsy, I guess?

Ilay:
Hm. Beer or anything else, I’m not particularly fond of alcohol itself. I just drink because Taei likes it.
Drinking habits, you say… well, I’ve never actually been drunk, so.

Reporter:
I see. Wow.

Reporter:
Uh, then—do either of you ever cook? Like, do you make food for each other or anything like that?

Ilay:
Rita doesn’t like it when I use the kitchen.
Ah, but sometimes I make dried-pollack soup myself. I’m probably better at that one dish than most chefs, don’t you think?

Taeui:
Uh… yeah. Sure. I guess so.

Reporter:
What about favorite foods?
Mr. Riegrow, do you have any Korean dishes you especially like?

Ilay:
I generally like Korean food just fine.
But if I had to pick one I particularly love… yes. A Korean-made dish that I could eat every single day without getting tired of it—in fact, the more I have it, the more I crave it, and the more I want—

Taeui:
Hey, why are you looking at me like that?

Reporter:
Uh—uh, sorry, this may be an impertinent question, but… could you tell us, um, your favorite (segs) position?

Taeui:
Ah… position?

Ilay:
They all have their charms, but I prefer to finish in one where I can see his face.
Tae-ui’s face, when he’s reaching the end—the very end—is enough to draw a man’s soul right out of him.

Taeui:
It’s (his) size.., everything’s hard no matter what you do.
At this point, I don’t even care what position it is—just maybe, please, go a little shallower. Really, just… a little less—ah, yes, less—yes, less—

Reporter:
Uh, right—moving on! We’re also curious about how you two express affection for each other. Since you’re an official couple now, listeners are dying to know those little details. How do you show love?

Taeui:
Uh, yeah. “Affectionate gestures,” huh. I’m not really sure what counts, but… sometimes he’ll suddenly pat my head or lightly pinch my cheek for no reason.
He just does it and moves on, but when he does, it’s kind of cute—and it makes me feel good.

Ilay:
Let’s see. For me, it’s when he calls me “Ilay.”

Taeui:
That’s an expression of affection?

Ilay:
Of course.

Fin.
